The reason why we should understand the Catholic faith is to be able to defend our faith when someone asks especially the non-Catholics who are bias and non open minded.  They will tell you that you will go to hell because all they know is that the Catholic religion is from pagan origin.  Another reason is to spread the good news to others and be able to strengthen our brothers and sisters who are dwindling in their faith.  Or if you have relatives or friends who went astray, please open your communication.  Hopefully you can convince them back because it is the Catholic Church that has the fullness of truth, the TRUE Church founded by our Lord Jesus Christ.  Most importantly, you will be helping them save their souls.

Click here to view pictures of the 2008 mission at the Diocese of Urdaneta, Pangasinan Philippines.  Concentrated on senior high school students help in their formation by conducting a day of seminars on the Catholic faith to satisfy the requirements for taking the sacrament of confirmation.  About 200 students were confirmed and few were converted.
